3. Sugar Bowl – Baylor vs Ole Miss

Time and Channel: January 1st, 8:45 PM EST on ESPN

Of all the games, this may be the most balanced and exciting game to watch. Baylor and Ole Miss are both coming off of losing seasons in 2020 and both made huge strides in 2021. Baylor depends on their strong defense while Ole Miss runs a pass heavy west coast style of offense that has torn defenses apart all season.

This is a matchup of two teams who we weren’t sure would even be bowl eligible this season who are now on the doorstep of being serious CFP teams next season if they can continue their upwards trajectory.
