BYU Basketball put themselves in a good, but not great situation for making the NCAA Tournament during non conference play.

Three weeks ago it appeared that BYU Basketball was an absolute lock to play in the NCAA Tournament. That has changed quite a bit however since the Cougars have shown that they are now a team that lives and dies by three since they don’t get much production out of the frontcourt with so little depth.

Despite this, the Cougars still have a great shot at making the Big Dance, and personally I’d give them a 60% of doing just that.

But what does BYU have to do to secure a bid? Luckily, for now there are quite a few options. The most obvious of course is to just win the WCC Championship, but since that is an auto-bid, that won’t be discussed in this article.
