BYU Football: Way too early look at the 2022 schedule

Elite Teams

BYU Football will play three teams who played most of their 2021 season ranked in the Top 15; Baylor, Notre Dame and Oregon. While it is impossible to predict where exactly each of these three teams will be in 2022, it isn’t hard at all to imagine all three of these teams finishing with 10+ wins once again.

Of these three games, Baylor looks the most winnable as it is the second game of the season and the Cougars have already shown they are really good when healthy. This will also be only game at home of the three teams mentioned.

Oregon will be played in Eugene the week following the Baylor game and Notre Dame will be played in Las Vegas six weeks into the season after the Cougars will have played Utah State the week before.

If BYU Football can make it 1-2 in this stretch that would be viewed as a success. Anything better would be a sign that this Cougar team may be Top 10.
