BYU Football: Way too early look at the 2022 schedule

Finally Some Easier Opponents

Last season the Cougars were lucky enough to have five games that appeared to automatic wins with games against Arizona, USC, Idaho State, Georgia Southern and South Florida.

This upcoming season, there are only three of those games. Sort of.

South Florida is actually a scary game. Last season, the Cougars struggled to stop the Bulls’ athletic quarterback Timmy McClain. Going on the road and giving him another year of development is a bit concerning and could lead to a very close final score.

Dixie State and Stanford should still be wins, although Stanford can always surprise and pull off the upset, especially if the Cardinal are 5-6 coming into the season finale.
