2. At USC/UCLA

USC and UCLA are sort of like Miami in that they bring a lot of hype and excitement with their name, but not necessarily their talent. Granted this could all change with Lincoln Riley, but again for the sake of this article I’m viewing things as they have been in recent years. Either of these teams would get a lot of hype while still giving BYU a great chance to win.

USC and UCLA would both give BYU fans in the California area a game to go to. There are a ton of BYU fans in Southern California and now that BYU is in the Big 12, the opportunity to attend a game will go down drastically.

In the last, well forever, BYU has traveled to Southern California at least once every two seasons giving the fanbase something to look forward to. Having this game along with a game against a G5 like San Jose St or Fresno State would keep the fans in SoCal engaged with the team.
