Games to Keep

2027: Utah

2028: Miami, at Ole Miss

2029: Ole Miss, Utah

2030: at Utah

2031: None (yet)

2032: Michigan State, Army

Yes, earlier I said that BYU and Utah need to find a way to play each other every season, but I changed my mind when I saw the 2028 and 2029 seasons. The Cougars have the opportunity to have a home and home series with Ole Miss, however in 2028 also have a game scheduled at home vs Miami.

2028 looks like an exception where BYU could make a one year exception and say “You did it twice for Florida, give us one year” and things can return to normal afterwards.

2032 looks like a potentially really fun schedule with Michigan State and Army at home and Utah on the road (if they continue to play yearly).
