Today marks the start, sort of, of the 2022 BYU Football season. For the first time this year, the team and coaches will get together with essentially the entire team. Outside of a few high school seniors and returning missionaries who may make an impact, starting today it will be easy to start to get a read on what to expect this upcoming season.

Of course Spring Football is often very little more than a Costco sample, leaving fans with more questions than answers, but as basketball is coming to an end and we enter the long sports drought often referred to as baseball (although there are even questions with that at the MLB level) we will take what we can get.

Obviously there are some questions that we know for sure that will not be answered, such as an official depth chart. However, there are quite a few questions we will get answered, and you don’t even need to be there to find out. Here are the three storylines that I, and I believe you also should be watching out for.
