Who is participating?

This seems like a pretty boring question/answer, but there is a lot of information that we can gain from it. The first being injuries. Last season BYU Football was hit with injuries harder than the Titanic hit the iceberg. At the end of the season there were players starting and getting reps, particularly on defense, that didn’t even appear on the depth chart when the Cougars opened up the season in Las Vegas.

Some of those players will still be out. For star players that may not be a huge deal to sit out Spring Football, but for the backups, or the guys fighting to hold onto a starting position, it could be very interesting.

The other interesting question that could be answered, or at least bring into question is the transfer portal. As crazy as it sounds, not every single player goes onto social media and announces their intentions to transfer. Many players keep things very private until they have a landing spot. Could there be a few familiar names not participating who are healthy?
