Impact of new players

I am not only referring to incoming freshmen and transfers. Aside from those players, it will be very interesting to see what comes out about players who are replacing long time starters/backups.

It will be interesting to see who is replacing players like James Empey, Keenan Ellis, Baylor Romney, and Tyler Allgeier. While it is unlikely that we will receive word of who will be replacing each of these players, it won’t be hard to figure out who is playing center with the other starters or defending Gunner Romney in the video clips that we get from the team.

Perhaps the most interesting will be the running backs. With two new transfer backs coming in along with experienced players Lopini Katoa and Jackson McChesney and promising players Miles Davis and Hinkley Ropati also in the running back room it is anyone’s guess how things will shake out. If you ask me, there is so much talent there, one or two of these guys may end up transferring.
