Samson Nacua

Projection: 7th Round, Mr. Irrelevant

In case you didn’t know, Mr. Irrelevant is the nickname given to the final player drafted into the NFL. Over the years it has become a joke, almost an ode of bad luck to be this selection, but honestly, it isn’t a bad spot to be.

Samson Nacua had a really impressive Pro Day, particularly in the 40 . His 40 time was 4.48 which would have ranked him third at the NFL Combine and in the top 50% in the league. Similiar to Empey, I think there is a chance that at the end of the draft a team may be looking for a speed receiver and take a chance with Nacua.

If he does not get drafted, I believe that Nacua will be on a shortlist of camp invites for many teams.
