Tyler Allgeier

Projection: 4th Round, Kansas City Chiefs

Similar to this year’s QB class, there isn’t a very clear pecking order for the running backs. Most have Allgeier in the top five or six overall, but even that is debatable. It really is what the team is wanting. Allgeier didn’t have the best 40-yard sprint, the data point probably most looked at for running backs. While this may not have hurt his draft prospect, it certainly did not help it.

Allgeier will almost certainly be drafted in the first five rounds, however quite honestly it is almost impossible to give any kind of projection as to where he will land since every team is always looking for a good second or third option running back who they don’t have to pay the big bucks to.
