BYU is practically a lock for the NCAA Tournament, but they still have to get through the Big 12 Tournament. Here are the teams BYU should want to avoid in the Big 12.

2. . . . 837. . . BYU MBB. 21-6, 10-4 Big 12.

Iowa State is the second-best team in the conference and in my opinion, still has not peaked this season. BYU has been up and down this season but has had more ups than downs which is what has kept them in tournament contention this entire time.

The Cyclones are the fourth-best offense and second-best defense in the Big 12. BYU has the best offense in the Big 12, but just the eight best defense as well. These two teams are set to meet in the second to last game of the season. If they were to meet in the tournament, that could be tough for both teams, but more so for BYU because this is their first time playing in this tournament, Iowa State has the experience here.

Iowa State is still slowly rising and has room to continue to get better so meeting up with them in the Big 12 Tournament could prove to be difficult for anyone and that includes BYU.
