BYU football. . . player. 540. 1959-1960. 6-15 overall record. Tally Stevens. Tally Stevens. 3

Tally Stevens only coached for two seasons at BYU but was an assistant coach for three years before taking over. Stevens compiled just a 6-15 record as a head coach. After playing football in college at Utah State, Stevens cut his playing career short to serve in the United States Air Force.

Here is a break down of Steven's career at BYU.

  • 1959: 3-7, 2-5 conference
  • 1960: 3-8, 2-5 conference

Stevens was never able to get more than three wins in either of the seasons he was at the helm at BYU. After getting just two wins again in conference play, Stevens was fired and never got another coaching job.
