Brett Keisel was drafted in the seventh round and you don't see a lot of seventh-rounders last very long in the NFL let alone 13 seasons. Keisel was taken with the 242nd pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers as a defensive end.
Keisel didn't do much in his rookie season and then missed the entirety of his second season with a shoulder injury. It wasn't until his fourth year that Keisel was able to truly get his career going. His fourth season was when he became a full-time starter for the rest of his career.
The best season Keisel had in his career was in 2010 when he was voted to the Pro Bowl recording one interception returned for a touchdown, two forced fumbles, three sacks, and 33 total tackles. Keisel decided to retire after the 2014 season after 13 solid years in the NFL.
