BYU fans react to Cougars being down by 8 at half against Duquesne in March Madness
BYU does not look like the team Cougars fans would hope to see in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars shot their second-lowest field goal percentage all season in the first half of the game against Duquesne.
The Cougars shot just 33.3 percent from the floor and scored just 30 points in the first half. Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year Jaxson Robinson has been the only bright spot of this game with 13 points off the bench for the Cougars.
Fans are not too happy with the performance BYU has had so far and they are letting the Cougars know on X (formally known as Twitter). Here are some of the best reactions from fans so far.
It seems like everything is going in Duquesne's favor and BYU fans feel hopeless at this point. Live by the sports gods and die by the sports gods.
Physicality is not one of BYU's strong skills right now and it is showing. The Cougars are getting pushed around and they are letting it happen.
Jaxson Robinson is willing for his team to get this win right now, but he can't do it alone. He needs help from the rest of his team to pull off the comeback and get this win.
Today was not the day to have no-shows. If someone other than Robinson doesn't show up fast, BYU could have a short stay in Omaha.
It is now or never for BYU and they need to find a way to string together a run or else they will be one and done yet again in the NCAA Tournament.
