Watford, a dual threat QB who was a Top 30 recruit at the QB position out of high school according to Rivals.com. Watford is the likely starter for the Cavaliers this upcoming season.
Former Alabama and Elite 11 QB, Phillip Sims left the Hoos after spring. Sims along with Greyson Lambert were all battling for the starting role in first-year Offensive Coordinator, Steve Fairchild’s (former Colorado State HC) new offense. Watford won the job due to his versatility in the running game. Will be an intriguing matchup for the BYU defense right away.
