Honorable Mention: 2012 – Utah 24, BYU 21

This one can’t crack the Top 10 rivalry games that went BYU’s way for one simple reason.

It didn’t go BYU football’s way.

Kicker Riley Stephenson clanked a game-tying field goal off the upright, allowing the Utes to escape with a 24-21 win.

But not before a large portion of Utah fans in the stadium rushed the field not once, not twice, but three times thinking they’d won the game.

The pure enjoyment of watching Utah fans make fools of themselves earns this game an Honorable Mention.
