Kevin McGiven, Oregon State Offensive Coordinator

McGiven has been coaching at Oregon State since 2015, starting as the QB coach and moving to co-offensive coordinator and then offensive coordinator.

Before his run with the Beavers, McGiven spent time at Utah State and Montana State as offensive coordinator and QB coach.

He was named the FootballScoop Quarterbacks Coach of the Year in 2014, coaching Chuckie Keaton and Kent Myers at Utah State.

At Oregon State, things haven’t gone so smoothly.

The Beavers averaged just 19.4 points per game this season (116th in the nation) after averaging 25.2 points per game in 2016. Obviously the program in Corvallis isn’t in the greatest shape, with Gary Andersen leaving mid-season and ending the season with a shellacking at the hands of Oregon in the Civil War.

However, McGiven knows the west for recruiting and has found success in the state of Utah.
