BYU Football: Five opponents the Cougars should schedule soon

It’s one of the games in which BYU wishes a replay review existed.
In 1982, the Cougars took on No. 6 Georgia in Athens. The Bulldogs featured Herschel Walker, who would go on to with the Heisman Trophy that year and is still regarded as one of the best running backs in college football history.
Steve Young led the Cougars in a rain-soaked slugfest. BYU managed to take a 14-7 lead into the fourth quarter against the Top-10 Bulldogs, but Walker tied things up late with a 1-yard touchdown run.
If review existed in 1982, the officials likely would have overturned that touchdown though, since Walker pushed the ball forward across the goal line after he was already down.
The Bulldogs broke that tie with a little over a minute left with a field goal by Kevin Butler, and Georgia escaped with the win and stayed unbeaten.
BYU and Georgia haven’t faced off since that game, and it’s high time that the Cougars have a chance to avenge that controversial loss.
