Everything is set for both BYU Football and BYU Men’s Basketball to play two of their biggest games on November 24th. All that’s left is to win them.

Think this upcoming Saturday’s BYU sports triple-header is going to be awesome?

It will be, but next Saturday’s double-header will have more meaning for both BYU Football and BYU Men’s Basketball.

Football will head up north to take on Utah in the Holy War, while basketball hosts Houston, their biggest non-conference home opponent.

And the time and television schedule is finally set for both games.

The PAC-12 announced on Monday that BYU and Utah will kick off at 8:00pm MT on Fox Sports 1. It’ll be the Cougars first game on that channel since the season-opener against Arizona in 2016.

It’ll be the tenth game on a major national channel this season, and the second on a Fox channel. The first one didn’t turn out the best, as the Cougars were pummeled by Washington on Fox in late September.

The Holy War will have added importance for the Cougars this season. If they don’t beat New Mexico State this Saturday they’ll need to beat the Utes for bowl eligibility, but either way they’re trying to break the Utes’ seven-game winning streak in the rivalry.

With the evening slot taken by the football game, BYU announced that their home basketball game with Houston will tip off at 4:00pm MT. It’ll be broadcast on BYUtv.

Houston is the top team coming to the Marriott Center during non-conference play, and a win would be big for BYU’s NCAA Tournament resume. It’ll also be the final game in a six-game homestand and the likely championship match for the Men Against Breast Cancer Cougar Cup.

The timing that Saturday should be perfect for BYU fans, since there will be enough time in between games for folks to make the trip from Provo to Salt Lake City to support the Cougars in both matchups.
