Out of all the conferences in the NCAA there is no more predictable conference champion than the WCC, but that won’t stop the other nine teams from trying to defy the odds.

Las Vegas, Nevada – The Magic of March is coming your way, but even in Sin City I wouldn’t bet against the Gonzaga Bulldogs as the tournament champion in the WCC for the 7th time in a row. Gonzaga is the cream of the crop, not only in the WCC but the entire country as they carry their No. 1 ranking in the country, and as tournament champion, they would most likely carry a No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.

The Likely Winner

Gonzaga is led by senior point guard Josh Perkins and junior forwards Rui Hachimura and Brandon Clarke. The team stats for Gonzaga are eye-popping and I could write another article praising Gonzaga’s greatest team that I have ever watched. As a taste of their dominance, they are first in Division 1 in: Points, Points per Games, 2-point field goal %, field goal %, and field goals made. They are second in assists and defensive rebounds as well.

Wow.

After Gonzaga comes the myriad of teams that can make it to the championship. Saint Mary’s, BYU and San Francisco will be the biggest contenders to compete for the crown.
