BYU Football: Where would BYU rank in each conference?

Likely Ranking: Champion or 2nd in Division

Biggest Competition: Boise State

We all know all too well about the Mountain West. For awhile it seemed like the Mountain West was a top tier G5 and two or three really good teams away from being at the P5 level. However, in recent years, the MWC has become a middle of the pack football conference that is very top heavy with Boise State being the only constant Top 25 team.

BYU would likely be in the same division as Boise State and the winner of BYU vs Boise State game would likely be the eventual division champion, and most years the eventual conference champion.

This conference for BYU would likely be very similar most years with the Cougars going either 6-1 or 7-0 against teams not named Boise State and probably splitting games with the Broncos 50-50. Think something like BYU Basketball in the WCC and Gonzaga/St Mary’s vs the rest of the conference.
