AJ Dybantsa dominates while leading Team USA to yet another championship

This BYU commit is the real deal. Just ask the entire remainder of the world.

AJ Dybantsa is pretty good at basketball; I don't expect to make any headlines by making such a declaration.

The BYU commit made this point abundantly clear yet again as he stamped his name at the forefront of the junior basketball world. Leading another stacked Team USA junior squad to the peak of the international gauntlet that is the FIBA World Cup, Dybantsa rocked rims, sizzled nylon, and dominated every inch of the 94-foot playing surface from the opening tip to the final buzzer. It's no wonder why this talented youngster will be walking away with a gold medal around his neck.

In fact, his performance was so all-consuming, that he'll be walking away as the most outstanding performer of the entire tournament. In all the world, age 19 and under, AJ stands alone.

MVP of the FIBA World Cup has a decent ring to it. Gotta put that on the resume.

Though opinions are still somehow split as to whether or not he deserves the top designation of his own recruiting class (I think we all know where I stand on this point), on the international stage, there is no debate. The world spins like a basketball on one AJ Dybantsa's fingertip.

It was a dominant tournament for the Americans during Independence Season, as the untouchable star-spangled squad smashed the competition round-by-round. Winning by double digits against every unfortunate nation in their path, this is a team of hoopers unstoppable in their pursuit of global dominance.

On the basketball floor, this is still America's game. This young platoon is led by AJ Dybantsa -- a BYU commit. What a strange world we live in.
