Fousseyni Traore had a heck of a senior year. Fouss combined strong defense with electric offense. The Fouss call was heard often at the Marriott Center, and Traore was key to BYU's success. Fouss averaged 8.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and did well to avoid foul trouble. Fouss shot 62.8% from the field and 82.3% from the free throw line.

Traore and Keba Keita split court time, with both players making big plays. In the 2024-25 season, Fouss was moved to the bench, and Keita started. Despite being pushed to the bench, Fouss made the most of his time on the court and had some epic dunks late in games. Traore could turn defense into offense and grab easy buckets.

Fouss's biggest strength was his size. He could fight down low and push smaller players around to score buckets. His physical play was nearly unstoppable, and opponents often had to foul to try and prevent an easy bucket. Traore is 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. He is a big presence down low, and teams have a hard time containing him, constantly being outphysicaled.

Fouss also had a high basketball IQ to match his strength. A center with brains and brawn is a hard player to guard. Fouss knew what kind of shot to take, when and where to pass the ball, and how to beat players down low. Fouss had great ball-handling skills and could dribble to scoring chances.

Fouss is a great player overall and had a great highlight reel in the 2024-25 season. Big dunks, smooth layups, and key blocks. Traore is a fun player to watch and knows how to score again and again. However, Fouss struggled with turnovers and sometimes lost the ball out of bounds on what should have been an easy bucket.

Final Grade: A-

Fouss overall had a good season, with big plays and jaw-dropping dunks. He still has some things to work on, such as turnovers, but he did well overall.
