BYU Cougar Cards Tell Stories: Puka Nacua is doing the unprecedented

I’m a lifelong collector of sports cards and specialize in rare, autographed cards of BYU players in their BYU uniforms. Instead of just keeping these cardboard treasures to myself, in this new video series entitled "BYU Cougar Cards Tell Stories" I'm going to open up my collection and share them with you.
In this edition I'm sharing one of my single favorite cards in my collection - a beautiful 2023 Puka Nacua autographed, numbered, blue ice Prism from Panini.
The card itself is simply gorgeous. The blue color match of the card with the Cougars colors just screams, "BYU!" As a Prizm card it refracts light which causes it to come alive with shimmering color. It's also a rare, numbered card No. 2 of just 75 that were produced. Puka's autograph gives a personal connection from the player to the person holding this unique piece of BYU football memorabilia.
BYU fans already know the legacy Puka left in Provo and the incredible start to his NFL career. As a rookie in 2023, he set the NFL's all-time record for receptions and receiving yards for a first-year player. Puka was selected for the 2023 Pro Bowl.
The story attached to this card is one of accomplishing the unprecedented. Puka Nacua is doing what no other BYU wide receiver has done before by flashing NFL All-Pro potential. As Puka continues to play at elite levels for the Los Angeles Rams, the value of his card will only increase. But the value of this beauty transcends how much it can sell for on eBay.
The true value of this card is the pride it gives to BYU fans watching Puka Nacua succeed in the NFL like no other former BYU wide receiver before him. Enjoy!
