The pipeline from Provo to the pros is strong with 19 former BYU Cougars currently on NFL rosters. Here's how each of them performed in Week 17.
Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Stats: 10 carries, 23 yards
While it was nice for Tyler to log double-digit carries on Monday Night Football, situation also matters. About half of his carries came against seven-man fronts on obvious running plays, forcing the bruising running back to push piles instead of finding creases.

Zayne Anderson, S, Green Bay Packers
Stats: 1 tackle; Injured in first half
Zayne Anderson is a special teams ace for the Packers and registered a tackle on the game's opening kickoff. But the bad news was early in the game he limped off the field and was ultimately carted off and rule out for the rest of the game. Here's to hoping the injury isn't serious.
Anderson has 15 tackles in 14 games this year, just one tackle behind his career-high 16 from last season.
Tyler Batty, DE, Minnesota Vikings
Stats: 2 tackles, 14 special teams snaps
The undrafted rookie filled his role once again as a special teams mainstay and produced two tackles in kickoff coverage. He has 11 tackles in 11 games this year.
Chris Brooks, RB, Green Bay Packers
Stats: 1 reception, 11 yards; 1 tackle
The third-year pro continues to play an important role for the Packers on offense and on special teams. His offensive role as a running back is primarily on passing downs where he blocks well and occasionally catches passes out of the backfield, which he did again in last week's loss. He also registered another special teams tackle.
Brooks has 45 rushing yards, 91 receiving yards, and 14 tackles this season.

Michael Davis, CB, New Orleans Saints
Stats: 1 tackle
The veteran corner continues to play a role on the Saints special teams and recorded his fourth tackle in 11 games this year.
Taysom Hill, TE, New Orleans Saints
Stats: 3 carries, 0 yards
Taysom fell back down to earth after last week's vintage, dominant performance. His 2025 struggles gaining yards when given the ball continued last week in a Saints victory over the Titans. This year he has 52 carries for just 114 yards, averaging 2.2 yards per carry.

Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams
Stats: 5 receptions, 47 yards, 1 TD
It's funny to call a 5-47-1 performance somewhat disappointing, but Puka was coming off three-straight games of 150-plus receiving yards, tying an NFL record. He also had no help from his left tackle, D.J. Humphries, who negated a 36-yard reception and a 41-yard touchdown from the BYU superstar.
It seems like Puka is also setting some sort of NFL record every week, too. He did so again last week by becoming the fastest player to 300 receptions in NFL history, needing just 43 games.

Ryan Rehkow, P, Cincinnati Bengals
Stats: 2 punts, 42.5 yard average, 1 inside the 20, 43-yard long
After a subpar day -- at least by Rehkow's lofty standards -- averaging 42.5 yards per punt, Ryan Rehkow is no longer leading the NFL in punting. His 51.0 yard average now ranks second in the NFL, trailing the Green Bay Packers Daniel Whelan by 0.3 yards per punt. With a good performance next week, Rehkow could end up leading the NFL in punting this year.
Kingsley Suamataia, OG, Kansas City Chiefs
Stats: Started game, played 100% offensive snaps
The Chiefs starting left guard continues to have a strong second NFL season. His transition from a struggling rookie tackle last year to a thriving starting guard this year is positioning the former BYU star for a 10-plus year career. Still just 22 years old, Kingsley is currently ranked as the No. 33 guard in the NFL.

Sione Takitaki, LB, Minnesota Vikings
Stats: 1 tackle, 18 special teams snaps
The veteran linebacker was called up from the practice squad to the 53-man roster last week and contributed two tackles in his 2025 debut. He followed that up with another special teams tackle in Week 17. Hopefully he can demonstrate he's healthy enough to continue his career in 2026.
Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Baltimore Ravens
Stats: 23 defensive snaps, no stats
Kyle Van Noy continues to do his part as the Ravens recorded another victory last week, this one over the Packers, to keep their season alive. Van Noy is coming off a 12.5-sack Pro Bowl season last year so this year's stats of 18 tackles and two sacks feels muted.
