Here’s the Week 6 summary of former BYU Cougars in the NFL. Power Rankings reflect this season's overall performance.
No. 1 - Fred Warner, LB, San Francisco 49ers
Stats: 11 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 pass defended
It was the second straight week with double-digit sacks for Warner as he helped the San Francisco 49ers pick up a big divisional win against the Seattle Seahawks. He now has 50 tackles on the season and is well on his way to his seventh straight campaign with 100-plus tackles.
No. 2 - Kyle Van Noy, LB, Baltimore Ravens
Stats: 2 tackles
After being names AFC Defensive Player of the Month in September, Van Noy’s two games in October have been relatively quiet. For the second straight game he had two tackles and no sacks.
No. 3 - Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Stats: 18 carries, 105 yards, 1 touchdown; 1 reception, 3 yards
Glory be! Finally! Amen! The Atlanta Falcons had been guilty of football malpractice this season by not having given Tyler Allgeier double-digit rushes in any games leading up to Week 6. The Atlanta Falcons easily handled the Carolina Panthers last week and in the process Allgeier got a team-high 18 carries for 105 yards and a touchdown. The bulldozing running back has 283 rushing yards on the season and is averaging 5.5 yards per carry.
No. 4 - Ryan Rehkow, P, Cincinnati Bengals
Stats: 6 punts, 46.3 yard average, 4 inside the 20, 57 yard long
The former BYU punter was called into action half a dozen times for the Bengals in Week 6 and the rookie delivered. He pinned the ball inside the 20-yard line four times with a long of 57. Rehkow’s 47.3 net yards per punt leads the NFL. He was referred to as the "Rookie with the big leg" during Sunday Night Football.
No. 5 - Khyiris Tonga, DT, Arizona Cardinals
Stats: 5 tackles, 26 defensive snaps (36%)
Khyiris Tonga’s tackles-per-snap ratio this season is off the charts. Defensive tackles normally just eat blocks and don’t record many tackles. But this season Tonga has played a total of 90 snaps with 12 tackles. He has 11 tackles in his last three games. That’s remarkable.
No. 6 - Brady Christensen, OL, Carolina Panthers
Stats: 66 offensive snaps
In the wake of Austin Corbett’s season-ending injury last week, Brady Christensen is the Carolina Panthers starting center. He played in 100% of the team’s offensive snaps in Week 6, committed no penalties, and is quickly adjusting to his new role after starting at both guard and tackle in previous seasons.
No. 7 - Jamaal Williams, RB, New Orleans Saints
Stats: 2 carries, 7 yards
It looks like the Jamaal Williams experiment with the Saints is petering out. In the Saints first two games Williams had a total of 19 carries for 78 yards, but over the last four games he has totaled just eight carries for 26 yards. He’s averaging 3.8 yards per carry this season but seems to have lost the trust of the coaching staff.
No. 8 - Zayne Anderson, S, Green Bay Packers
Stats: 1 tackle, 16 special teams snaps
For the third straight week, Zayne Anderson produced a special teams tackle. The fourth-year pro has played in 23 career games with 337 special teams snaps, but he has yet to play a single defensive snap in that time. He truly is a special teams wonder.
No. 9 - Chris Brooks, RB, Green Bay Packers
Stats: 4 rushes, 21 yards; 10 offensive snaps, 4 special teams snaps
The Packers were up big against the Arizona Cardinals and Chris Brooks ended up getting some garbage time carries in addition to his regular special teams duties. The second-year back now has seven carries for 24 yards on the season.
No. 10 - Michael Davis, CB, Washington Commanders
Stats: 2 defensive snaps, 16 special teams snaps
Michael Davis’s quiet 2024 season with the Commanders continued through Week 6 with no stats recorded after playing two defensive snaps and a bunch on special teams.
No. 11 - Sione Takitaki, LB, New England Patriots
Stats: 1 tackle, 9 defensive snaps, 13 defensive snaps
Hallelujah! Sione Takitaki is finally off the PUP list and made his 2024 season debut and recorded a special teams tackle. After five highly-productive seasons with the Cleveland Browns, a now healthy Takitaki will push to crack the Patriots starting lineup.
No. 12 - Kingsley Suamataia, OT, Kansas City Chiefs
Stats: Bye week
The rookie will take the bye week to continue to hone his craft, primarily contributing on special teams.

Taysom Hill, TE, New Orleans Saints (Injured)
