The pipeline from Provo to the pros is strong, with 19 former BYU Cougars currently on NFL rosters. Here's how each of them performed in Week 18.
Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Stats: 7 rushes, 16 yards; 1 reception, 3 yards
In what is hopefully Tyler Allgeier's last game as an Atlanta Falcon, he had seven carries and averaged 2.3 yards per carry, which was a hair above Bijan Robinson's 2.2 yard average on 15 carries. The fourth-year pro has finished his rookie contract and will be a free agent this offseason. Here's to hoping some smart team gives him a multi-year contract to be their lead back next year.
Tyler Batty, DE, Minnesota Vikings
Stats: 1 tackle
Tyler Batty has registered most of his tackles on special teams this year, he got a tackle this week playing on the defensive line. And in a fun twist of fate for BYU fans, he tackled fellow Cougar Chris Brooks who plays running back for the Packers. The undrafted rookie will finish his first NFL season with 12 tackles in 11 games.
Chris Brooks, RB, Green Bay Packers
Stats: 13 carries, 61 yards, 4.7 YPC
In the last game of the regular season and with the Packers navigating injuries at the running back spot, Chris Brooks logged a career-high 13 carries against the Vikings. His 13 carries went for 61 yards, averaging a healthy 4.7 yards per carry. His 61 rushing yards is the second highest of his career behind a 66-yard output last year. It was a great way to end the regular season for the third-year pro.

Taysom Hill, TE, New Orleans Saints
Stats: 3 receptions, 32 yards; 2 tackles
In what could prove to be Taysom Hill's final NFL game, the 35-year-old veteran hauled in three receptions for 32 yards, including an important fourth down conversion. He also had two tackles and despite his age continues to be one of the most versatile players in the NFL. Unfortunately, Taysom injured his shoulder on his final reception and didn't return to the game. If this was Taysom Hill's final NFL game, get ready for my one-man campaign to have him in the Hall of Fame one day.
Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams
Stats: 10 receptions, 76 yards, 1 TD; 2 carries, 24 yards
Ho-hum. Just another week of 100 scrimmage yards and a touchdown for the NFL's best wide receiver. In the Rams win this week Puka passed Randy Moss for the second most receiving yards through a player's first three seasons in NFL history. The 2025 Pro Bowler is virtually unstoppable.

Ryan Rehkow, P, Cincinnati Bengals
Stats: 5 punts, 44.4 yard average, 4 inside the 20, 58-yard long
Rehkow's second NFL season finsihed with a bang. While his average yards per punt of 44.4 wasn't great, four of his five punts landed inside the 20 yard line. Today's result will drag down Rehkow's season average of 51.0 yards, but he should still finish the season among the top three in the league for yards per punt.
Kingsley Suamataia, OG, Kansas City Chiefs
Stats: Started at guard; 14 rushing yards
Kingsley's second NFL season was an unbridled success. His move from left tackle last year as a rookie to left guard in his sophomore NFL season enabled him to start the entire season and play quite well. PFF ranks him as the No. 33 guard in the NFL, so not a Pro Bowler but definitely a solid player. At just 22 yards old his future his bright.
In a fun stat for an offensive lineman, Suamataia rushed for 14 yards when he caught a lateral on the last play of the game.

Sione Takitaki, LB, Minnesota Vikings
Stats: No stats; injured in third quarter
Appearing in just his third game this season after spending much of the year on the practice squad, Takitaki played some defensive snaps this week but suffered an injury in the third quarter. Hopefully his injury isn't serious and he can bounce back for a more productive 2026 season, whether that's with the Vikings or somewhere else.
Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Baltimore Ravens
Stats: 2 tackles
The veteran's 12th NFL season came to a dramatic end on Sunday Night Football when the Ravens kicker missed a game-winning field goal attempt as time expired. Van Noy's 2025 campaign was tempered versus last year's Pro Bowl season when he recorded 12.5 sacks. This year in 14 games he had 20 tackles and 2.0 sacks.
Zach Wilson, QB, Miami Dolphins
Stats: 0-of-2 passing
Zach got some mop-up duty in a blowout loss for the Dolphins. The fifth-year veteran signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins for the 2025 season as the primary backup to injury-prone Tua Tagovailoa. But when Miami benched Tua a couple of weeks ago, they decided to turn the offense over to rookie Quinn Ewers instead of Wilson. It looks like next year Zach will be looking for his fifth team next year.
