Here’s this week's summary of former BYU Cougars in the NFL. Players are ranked based on their year-to-date performance.
No. 1 - Fred Warner, LB, San Francisco 49ers
Stats: 8 tackles
Fred Warner continues to dominate for the 6-0 San Francisco 49ers. He racked up eight more tackles on Monday Night Football, including several jarring hits that sounded like traffic accidents. The former BYU legend now has 58 tackles through six games, putting him on pace for 164 tackles this year.
No. 2 - Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams
Stats: 6 receptions, 80 yards
It's a testament to just how dominant Puka Nacua has become to see a stat line of six receptions for 80 yards and just shrug our shoulders and consider this a "down week" for him. To put this week's performance in context, over 17 games at this pace he would average 102 receptions for 1,360 yards. Puka averages an all-time NFL record 96.3 receiving yards per game for the now 2-4 Rams.

No. 3 - Tyler Allgeier, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Stats: 18 carries, 38 yards; 1 reception, 10 yards
Oof. This was a rough week for Tyler Allgeier. Arizona was playing without first round rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, so Allgeier got plenty of carries. But he only produced 38 rushing yards on 18 carries, averaging just 2.1 yards per attempt. He was outshined by third-stringer Bam Knight who rushed 15 times for 80 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. This should have been Tyler's first 100-yard rushing game for his new team. Instead, it was a grind.
No. 4 - Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Minnesota Vikings
Stats: Bye week
Kyle Van Noy and his 5-0 Minnesota Vikings had a bye this week as they rest up and prepare to continue their currently undefeated season. The 13-year vet and BYU legend is doing his part with nine tackles, including six tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks this year.
No. 5 - Khyiris Tonga, DT, Kansas City Chiefs
Stats: 2 tackles
The Chiefs won again to get to a perfect 5-0 on the season, and Khyiris Tonga continues to do his part as the team's starting defensive tackle. The sixth-year vet had two tackles against the Chargers, limiting the ballcarrier to just one yard on both plays. He also spent some time in the backfield on offense once again as a lead blocker.
No. 6 - Kingsley Suamataia, OG, Kansas City Chiefs
Stats: Started at left guard
After being benched last game for what is widely believed to be disciplinary issues, Kingsley was back in the starting lineup in Kansas City's win this week. He exited the game briefly after getting kicked in the shin, but returned shortly thereafter.
No. 7 - Ryan Rehkow, P, Cincinnati Bengals
Stats: Bye week
Rehkow is getting a bye this week to rest his leg. He's had an interesting statistical season this year as his 44.9 yards per punt average is significantly below his career averages and near the bottom of the league thus far. But situation matters with punting. Rehkow has only punted 16 times this year, and nine of those have been downed inside the 20. He has been asked to be precise this year, not just booming 60-yard moonshots.

No. 8 - Zayne Anderson, S, Miami Dolphins
Stats: Bye week
Zayne is making an impact in his first year with the Dolphins as the team enjoys a bye week. Through five games he has 10 tackles, including a tackle for loss, and one pass defended. He has played 31% of Miami's defensive snaps and 31% of the team's special teams snaps, too.
No. 9 - Jack Kelly, OLB, New York Giants
Stats: 1 tackle
The sixth-round rookie continues to play a key role on special teams, which is perfectly acceptable for a late-round rook joining a Giants team with a stacked linebacker room. Kelly came up with another special teams tackle this week, his second tackle on the season.
No. 10 - Carsen Ryan, TE, Cleveland Browns
Stats: No stats recorded
After being inactive recently, the seventh-round rookie saw the field this week but didn't record any stats. Primarily playing special teams, he has yet to record his first NFL catch though he does have one tackle.
No. 11 - Zach Wilson, QB, New Orleans Saints
Stats: Inactive this week
Wilson is buried on the Saints depth chart and has yet to see the field this year.
