The best hoopers in the high school ranks will be taking the hardwood in Salt Lake City this weekend during the Grind Session High School Basketball World Championships.

From Darryn Peterson to AJ Dybantsa, and Xavion Staton to Niko Bundalo, some of the biggest names and top prospects of the 2025 recruiting class will be congregated for basketball mecca in the Beehive State. This pilgrimage will be akin to Superman in a bar fight with Chuck Norris -- no matter what you've got going on at the moment, it would be in your best interest to pay attention.

BYU basketball fans, are you listening? Is this thing on? The future of BYU hoops will be playing live in your backyard in a matter of days. This should be taken as reality-shattering news -- get off of the couch and into your car.

20 top 100-rated recruits will be in participation this weekend, with some notable names in action including three McDonald's All-Americans (Dybantsa, Peterson, and Bundalo, rated 1st, 2nd, and 28th respectively according to ESPN).

Prolific Prep, who will be in action on Friday, boasts seven top-100 recruits in the next three classes of prospects. It's no wonder why they're the sixth-ranked high school team in the nation. Utah Prep has four elite prospects of their own, including Anthony Felisi -- a super-athlete who just took a non-official visit to BYU over the weekend.

Per the press release, this tournament holds a rich history of hoopers carrying their talents into the highest levels of the game, with over 3,000 Grind Session players moving on to play collegiate or professional ball. The faces on the court this weekend will regularly appear on your television in the coming year.
