BYU basketball is a fun team to watch. Their three-point shooting is electric and the inside bully ball of Fousseyni Traore and Keba Keita is powerful. BYU of course, is playing in the hardest conference in college basketball and losses are expected. They are currently on a two-game losing streak and are 0-2 on the road. BYU has a chance to win in Texas against TCU and should take full advantage of it.

Against Texas Tech, BYU looked good but turnovers cost them, BYU gave the ball away late and could not make a shot, causing them to fall behind late. Passes were thrown away and nothing was falling for BYU. Against the Horned Frogs, BYU will have to take care of the ball and play together.

TCU is a strong and fast team that shoots quickly. Against Houston, they were putting shots up fast. However, the Horned Frogs were exposed in transition, were slow to guard the perimeter, and could not stop the three. Noah Reynolds is a physical guard who is not afraid to drive to the bucket. BYU will have their hands full with the hot and quick Horned Frogs.

Make smart passes

BYU gave the ball away too many times against Texas Tech and it cost them. BYU needs to pass the ball to the best shot and not throw the ball away. The Cougars also need to make sure that they control the ball upon recieving it.

Feed the big man

BYU's centers, Fousseyni Traore and Keba Keita are both powerful down low. Keita is a strong rebounder while Traore is a powerful finisher who is hard to stop. If the Cougars can feed the bigs down low and create mismatches, they could get big points and shift momentum.

Be Patient

BYU can rush their shots sometimes and gets antsy, making poor decisions and getting in deep holes. BYU needs to relax and be patient, waiting for the right shot to come to them. BYU can control the tempo of the game and could force TCU to play the game at their speed.

Overall, BYU has a good chance to get their first road win of the year, with electric three-point shooting and strong down low, the Cougars have a good chance to win in Texas. BYU needs to avoid turnovers and play at their pace.

BYU will be in action tomorrow on the road at TCU Saturday at noon MT on ESPN2.
