BYU football is coming off a major victory in last week's Holy War revival, and their reward? A home matchup against a suddenly resurgent Kansas team.
It's Kansas OC Jeff Grimes' return to Provo, and with him is a Jayhawk team with questionable integrity, but is on an undeniable hot streak after starting the season so poorly.
After splitting wins in a pair of matchups against Houston and Kansas State (the latter of which was a near Jayhawk win), Kansas finally earned their third win last week against floundering Iowa State. BYU remains hot, but this game will be far from a gimme against an upset-minded Kansas in Provo.
The Big 12 has been notorious this season for its upsets, and it's easily been the most volatile league in the FBS. The Cougars remain the only unbeaten team in the conference, and the only team with less than two losses on the year and they have their sights set on a conference championship game and a chance at the College Football Playoff.
That journey begins with the Cougars' next game against Kansas--BYU's first home game after a long road trip--where BYU will need to win to keep their undefeated season alive.
You're going to want to tune in.
