The Cougs are on a roll coming off a big win against Arizona to improve to 6-0. Bowl-eligible for the first time since joining the Big 12 Conference, BYU is having an inexplicably fantastic season despite more than a fair share of doubt scooped onto their lunch tray.

BYU is legitimately good this season, so you'll likely want to catch every game possible while this trend continues.

Retzlaff is playing smart, solid football, the running back room is once again healthy with LJ Martin and Hinckley Ropati leading the charge, and the defense is excellent. Shutting down the explosive duo of Fifita and McMillan is no easy task, but the Cougars held strong against the visiting Arizona Wildcats.

For their troubles, the Cougars are now faced with the task of holding down an Oklahoma State team that is desperate for something--anything--that could salvage a season that is quickly becoming a disaster. Ollie Gordon II has been bottled up after being touted as the nation's best rusher, and Alan Bowman has been too lousy at the helm to even mention. Despite this, Mike Gundy isn't ready to call it quits on the 2024 season, and this matchup with BYU will be the Cowboys' last chance to right the ship before it's too late.

Fortunately for Kalani Sitake and company, the Cougars are legitimately great and I can't believe this is reality. Also in the Cougars' favor is the time and place of this Friday meeting, as the night kickoff in LaVell Edwards Stadium suggests BYU will be playing at full strength if you're a believer in the vampire Cougs theory.
