BYU Basketball's top recruiting targets
Riding into the sunset
BYU has targeted several players this offseason and landed a few excellent additions to strengthen a roster hoping to replicate some of last season's success in the Cougars' inaugural Big 12 season. Having already landed Brody Kozlowski from USC, Keba Keita from Utah, and Elijah Crawford from Stanford is a revelation for a BYU basketball program that looked dead in the water upon Mark Pope's departure.
Some other targets have committed elsewhere or seem unlikely to land in Provo. Chaz Lanier committed to his hometown Tennessee University, and French prospect Maxim Logue seems all but locked into Oregon State.
The recruiting dead period began on the 5/22, and won't be finished until 6/2. Players are free to communicate over the phone, but cannot meet coaches or universities in person during this time. I wouldn't expect to hear about any new commitments or targets until this period has passed, but keep your ear to the ground, as we've already seen plenty of rumblings in reference to some of Kevin Young's top targets.
