How to watch BYU vs. Southern Illinois: date, time, odds, and location

We're only days away from BYU football's opening week matchup against FCS foe Southern Illinois. Now is the time to make your plans and buy your favorite wings, drinks, chips, and anything else you love to chow down on as the Cougars take the field on Saturday.

"But wait!" I can hear you hopelessly pleading from beyond the digital void. "I am the world's biggest Cougar fan, but I don't know what channel the game is on! When does it start and where is it played? Will I ever muster up the courage to kill that spider in the bathtub?"

I hear your questions and I'm here to ease your mind. Despite how you claimed to be the "world's biggest Cougar fan" (your words, not mine), this is a safe place, and I won't tell your tailgate buddies about your preseason fumble. That spider question may be a bit tricky, though. I'm an arachnophobe, myself.

For anyone who kept up with this past basketball season for the Cougars, you likely became quite familiar with ESPN+, which played host for several matchups throughout the Big 12 this past season (including a top 25 matchup with Baylor, if I remember correctly).

For those of you who have yet to get acquainted with ESPN+, it's a separate service from regular ESPN channels, so it will require a subscription to gain viewing access.
