Social media is going berzerk over the announcement that Egor Demin has committed to Kevin Young and his BYU basketball program. Demin, a 6'9" guard from Russia, is the biggest signing in BYU basketball's storied history and will likely be a one-and-done prospect as he projects to be a 2025 NBA Draft lottery pick.

Some, of course, were still cautious about BYU's chances mere moments before news broke.
Seeing more and more that Egor Demin is favoring BYU. Don't buy into those who are saying he's 100% coming to Provo until he makes it official, but it's easy to get excited about this! https://t.co/t0OsFUFmOG

Tithing is doing great things for you cheaters

To be clear: tithing and similar donations to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, BYU's sponsor organization, are completely separate from BYU athletics, and all NIL is paid through boosters and other donations to BYU's athletic program. In other words, if anyone tells you that the church is using its members' donations to boost their athletics, they are dead wrong.
