BYU football has won yet another game, this time against Arizona. BYU showed a lot of good things in this game, as well as in the first half of the season. One of BYU's biggest strengths is Bear Bachmeier and his three weapons in LJ Martin, Chase Roberts, and Parker Kingston. BYU has found great balance in the running and passing games, and they have found a way to beat opposing defenses in several different ways, making them unpredictable.

Speaking of defense, BYU's defense has been strong. The Cougars are giving up just 34 points a game and are taking the ball away from the opponent in big moments. Evan Johnson, Isaiah Glasker, and Jack Kelly have been phenomenal and will be crucial to BYU's success in the second half of the season. This team can sack quarterbacks, stop runs, and pick passes off with authority, and BYU needs them to be hot.

Of course, special teams have been key this year. Kicker Will Ferrin hasn't been perfect, but he is pretty dang close. BYU has a great kicker here in Ferrin, and he always delivers when it matters. BYU will need him to stay hot and keep the Cougars in the game. Punter Sam Vander Harr has also been great, pinning opponents deep in their own territory. Add on Parker Kingston's stellar return game, and BYU has a solid special teams group.

Overall, between great players, strength in all three phases, and excellent coaching, BYU is looking like a favorite for the Big 12 title. BYU has a strong coaching staff, and they are getting these men ready for the biggest games in the Sitake era. BYU also has a dedicated fan base nationwide that shows up at home and away games. BYU has all of the tools; now, they need to put the pedal to the metal and fight hard. It's only up from here.
