BYU is Back

Okay, so this is already starting to be thrown out there. At the start of the season BYU Football was getting less respect than our nations current approval on Congress because apparently all of their success was due to “playing nobody” and Zach Wilson. Never mind that the Cougars won their games 45-13 on average which is in the same atmosphere of what most Top 10 teams would do against that schedule. Regardless, there was no respect.

The Cougars are starting to get that back. People are starting to see BYU’s program as a legitimate Top 25 program regardless of the opponent or who the quarterback is. While losing to Arizona State wouldn’t completely diminish that respect, it would halt it and probably put BYU back in the 8-4 “meh pretty good team” category.

Again, like mentioned before, if BYU makes it past Arizona State with a win, they will probably be 5-0 once they face Boise State. By that point, BYU is back. There is nothing other than finishing the rest of the season 2-5 or worse that would ruin that, which again I don’t think would happen anyway. Honestly, they may lose to Boise State, USC and Virginia or Baylor. That’s right you heard it here first. If BYU beats Arizona State this week they will finish with a 9-3 or better record.
