BYU and Arizona are just a few hours from kickoff (assuming the weather doesn't delay the kickoff), so naturally, we're grabbing every last bit of information in a desperate attempt to grab something -- anything -- that may indicate the Cougars are not only in the driver's seat, but should remain favored to win against a much-improved Wildcats team.
Once glance at the injury report was all we needed.

Whoa, Arizona. I'm not reading that novel.
The Wildcats have a final injury report more than a mile long before their meeting with the Cougars. This isn't to say BYU doesn't have their own fair share of injury concerns, because they do. Sione Moa and Jojo Phillips remain out, while stud linebacker Jack Kelly sits under the "questionable" umbrella (which is a positive indicator considering he finished last weekend's game in an arm sling.
But back to the real story here: Arizona's massive list of injured players. A host of defensive back injuries will deplete a Wildcat secondary that has been very strong to this point in the season, though no major foundational injuries will hold BYU's opponents too far behind expectations, especially when Noah Fifita will remain on the field fully healthy and on a hot streak to open the season.
It seems that this year's edition of the Wildcats' football program is the type of team that many expected them to be after the transition from the Pac-12 to the Big 12. Now, head coach Brent Brennan seems to have his team firing as intended, only dropping one game to this point on the season -- a blowout loss against Iowa State in Ames.
Still, a team with as many injuries as the Wildcats should always be concerned when facing a team like BYU. This game could be tough if the home team's roster is too shallow.
