Egor Demin could see his draft stock rise a bit after getting his official NBA Draft Combine measurements. In an age where youth plus size equals potential in the eyes of league executives, BYU's jumbo guard has measured better than expected.

Officially measuring at 6'8.25" tall (without shoes) and stretching for a 6'10.25" wingspan, Egor boasts a plus wingspan of two inches, giving him a standing reach of 8 feet, 9 and a half inches. Whether you like Demin or not, that is a positive for his NBA projections.

This is outstanding news for Demin, as his performance in the NBA Draft Combine could heavily influence his perception among league executives.

Now measuring at nearly 200 pounds, Egor has bulked up since arriving at BYU, adding nearly 10 pounds to his wiry frame. That's more than nothing, and a positive indicator that he'll only get stronger alongside NBA competition.

So next comes the drills and scrimmages that come with participation in the combine. Size alone won't impress NBA executives and talent evaluators. No, Egor will have to prove what he can do on the court as he'll be pitted against his peers in a gladiator battle to jockey for draft position.

With exceptional floor vision and a taste for playmaking, Egor is the best passing prospect in the draft. If he can improve his defensive instincts, ball handling, and jump-shooting, Demin could see his stock rise (and rise quickly) as he navigates the draft waters.

We'll look forward to further news with great anticipation.
