BYU basketball is grinding through a rough patch in the season, after falling by double-digits after a late run by Texas Tech. The Cougars have failed to cover expectations in their past three contests, starting with the Cougars' first meeting with the Utah Utes.
Utah and BYU have been rivals for longer than anyone has ever been alive -- don't listen when grandpa tells you otherwise -- and every passing season drafts another chapter in their heated feud. The flames spark a little hotter, and the Utes arrived in their home venue, the Huntsman Center, unlike anything before (or since) when the top-10 ranked Cougars breached the threshold of their campus.

Following a career-low 13-point output against the Red Raiders last Saturday, AJ Dybantsa will have a week's break to reflect, adjust, and prepare to put on a show for the fanbase that chanted "overrated" toward him earlier this month.
